what should happen, and what actually happens, are two different things. in some situations/environments, losing your virginity outside of marriage is something that is looked down on. this is most common in churches and private christian schools.

If the past is the past, then why does it keep following us to the future?  Seriously...people say that the past dosnt effect who you are now but that right there is a false statement.  The things people do in the past regardless if its a mistake or not will have an impact on who you become in the future and who you are now

Memory is something people have no control over. Once you see something shocking, you will never forget it. While people may not openly change to these things, they will be impacted in some way or another within. Whether they be temporary or permanent. But people also have the ability to make a decision to change for the better or for the worst. What people witness will never go away, however people also don't have to fall victim to what they witness. They can either change themselves to adapt to it, or they can be chained to it, forever being haunted. So in the end, it's not about having these memories within us, it's how you act according to these memories.

Some people can actually learn from their past though. Why disregard everything about someone's character because of a few things they've done before?

a main problem is that people you respect, and whos oppinion you value. if they find out about your past(even a few years down the road) they will look at you with new light, nomatter if you have changed or not. often they will hold it against you, and even share the information with other people, starting rumors. (which is what happened to triston)

Speak for yourself, I've found a lot of things out later about many people that I know's past, including my parents, and it's never changed the way I see them.

most of the morons alive today arent like you scraseface(probably as much a good thing as a bad thing  )

i have met very few people who wouldnt immediately condemn me if i told them EVERYTHING

and those people already know.

Then those people arent real friends and if they are willing to change the way they view you because you have a checkered past then they werent worth being friends with anyway. If they arent friends or merely acquantences then what does it matter what they think? they have no serious impact on your life.

Learn from the past, live for the present, plan for the future.
